Extension v.1.1.5 (1/2)
The First Major Adventure Update is Live!
We're excited to share the first step in making Adventures more tactical and interactive.
This update focuses on player interaction, introducing a brand-new feature:
(Magical) Tools
During battles, players can now discover Tools—powerful items that may be distributed to participants after each fight.
Streamers start with 10 Tools unlocked and can expand their arsenal to a total of 40 Tools.
What Do Tools Do?
Tools—and their magical counterparts—let viewers influence the next fight in exciting ways:
Confuse enemies, leaving them vulnerable to attacks.
Bypass magic resistance, breaking through tough defenses.
Combine Tools to boost one element while altering the Party's elemental damage for the entire battle.
Strategically using and combining Tools can dice about victory or defeat!
As viewer you can open the adventure voting menu of the stream you watch and enable it for the next fight from there!
Extension v.1.1.5 (2/2)
Adventure
A new animation now plays when selecting a random player. [Streamers can disable this animation in the Adventure settings menu if preferred.]
Adventure Monsters now display their stats when clicked, provided you have unlocked their glossary entry.
Adventure Outcomes now include a detailed recap of dice rolls, with results highlighted in green and red.
Fixed an issue where mind-reading events targeted the wrong player during stat checks.
Adventure Creation Screen Update:
Added a help button with information about adventures.
This menu now also allows unlocking additional tools.
Tooltips
Tooltips now appear after hovering over an element for 0.3 seconds on devices with a mouse. This reduces accidental tooltip popups when moving the cursor across the screen.
Other
Fixed an issue with notification popups where receiving multiple notifications could prevent others from displaying and cause the achievement claim button to malfunction.
Enhanced Twitch bot spam protection to better handle players with multiple characters.
Resolved tooltip issues on mobile devices in dungeons to ensure proper selection of potions.

Arena Matchmaking Adjustment
Matchmaking now selects five opponents from each class with MMR closest to yours, totaling 25 potential opponents. From these, three are chosen at random. This change ensures a diverse range of opponents regardless of your position on the scoreboard.
Adventure
Effect durations have been significantly adjusted to have a stronger impact on gameplay. [Except for effects that influence the morale]
Shaky Effect: Now applies to all players instead of being limited to Rangers.
Precise Effect: Now applies to all players instead of being limited to Rangers.
Other fixes
Resolved an issue where "Second Chance" could still be purchased after an adventure had ended, causing a potential soft lock.
Potions now contribute towards progress in the "Shop Purchases" achievement.

Extension v.1.1.4 (1/2)
Character Handing
Frustrated with being switched to your most recently logged-in character when refreshing? Not anymore! Now, reloading the same tab will keep you on your current character, offering a smoother experience.
Adventure
As viewer you can now see at the bottom of the adventure voting menu in which adventure you are in case you switch the stream and forgot
Updated the visual display of morale changes from battles: Previously, morale adjustments were only shown after the battle concluded. Now, any morale buffs or debuffs that occur before the battle are also displayed correctly, alongside the post-battle changes. (The morale values themselves remain unchanged!)
Added global effects that impact the entire group, such as the bright hair effect. This change improves clarity by applying the effect collectively, rather than individually to each player, making it easier to track active effects.
The bright hair effect now applies to all characters instantly, without requiring a refresh.
Fixed the issue where players being turned to stone wasn't functioning correctly; they will now properly transform into stone.
Achievements
Added a button to hide completed achievements.
Added a button to manually claim specific achievements.
Fixed an issue where the 5% cheaper shop refresh was being applied in the extension before the corresponding achievement was claimed, causing the refresh button to malfunction until the achievement was obtained.
Adjusted achievement claiming behavior: when claiming achievements outside the achievement menu, only a single popup will appear for the newly claimed achievement, avoiding multiple popups. Extension v.1.1.4 (2/2)
Leaderboard
Added an adventure leaderboard that displays how often a streamer has hosted adventures and their high scores!
Attacking someone via the leaderboard now displays the Arena counter, helping you track when you earn glossary entries and when you don't.
Stats / Character Menu
Adjusted naming of the battle stats for better clarity:
"Crit perc" to "Crit Chance"
"Crit mod" to "Crit Multiplier"
"Armor" to "Phys. Defense"
"Mag Res." to "Mag. Defense"
We now display the stats from armors in your stats menu:
Agility, Armor & Magical Resistance
Other improvements
Improved error handling: Previously, some endpoints would drop unknown errors when using multiple extensions. They now indicate a desync issue, providing an option to reload.
Claiming evdaily now directly deposits materials into your material inventory without needing a refresh.
Made minor adjustments to speed up battles at 2x and 3x speed.
Fixed an issue where refreshing after a dungeon ended would always display a "dungeon lost" message.
Enhanced styling for the dungeon completion screen.
The potion menu in dungeons now displays the inventory horizontally for some views for better usability across devices.

You can no longer attack yourself using !evbattle.
Key rarities have been adjusted.
When you donate materials, you will now also gain reputation based on the recipe. For example. The brass bar gave 1 reputation as it was just a common item. Now it adds 4 reputation points as the recipe requires 4 common materials to craft.
We now track the amount of adventures hosted. The Adventure Highscore Tracker has been reset in preparation for an upcoming update.

Adventure
Adjusted Adventure Health Formula: Healing is now based on the character's current health instead of a flat 20% of the max health. The new formula is: ((0.2 * maxHP) * (currentHP / maxHP)) + (0.05 * maxHP). --> It basically heals less the more you hurt it
Fixed an issue where receiving two coin stacks in an adventure without any existing stacks in your inventory only resulted in one being received.
Adjusted Events:
Arena Betting Spectacle & Tournament of Heroes
Players will no longer faint when losing the battle.
Dungeon
Winning a dungeon now retains any remaining health potions instead of discarding them.
Fixed XP desynchronization issue: The dungeon summary previously displayed less XP than was actually awarded due to the glossary multiplier not being applied correctly for display purposes.

Balancing
Reduced monster randomness to make encounters more predictable and allow for better strategic planning.
Discord Daily daily-bonus
We've decided to make changes to the streak mechanic to address player frustration:
Previously, if you failed to claim your daily reward within 60 hours, your streak would fully reset.
With the new system, your streak will no longer be completely reset. Instead, for each day missed after the 60-hour grace period, one day will be deducted from your streak. For example, if you have a 100-day streak and go on a week-long holiday without internet, you can return with a 93-day streak intact. This means daily grinders won't see any changes, but those who occasionally miss the grace period can still maintain their progress toward achievements.
Chatbot
To give streamers more control: You can now adjust the battle timeout for !evbattle on our webpage at https://embervale.tv/commands/ for your channel. The default timeout remains 5 minutes (300 seconds), but you can set it anywhere between 10 seconds and 900 seconds (15 minutes).
The evbattle cooldown is now channel-specific, so a channel with a longer timeout won't affect your experience in another channel with a shorter timeout.

As soon as an achievement is completed, you will now receive a popup, so you don’t have to constantly check the achievements tab. If you don’t want to claim the achievement, you can simply close the popup.

Fixed an issue where the check determining who starts the battle did not correctly apply dexterity potions.
Once a streamer presses 'Continue' on the voting screen to view the dice roll, the dice roll bonus is now saved too. This resolves an issue where changing equipment or stats during this phase could previously alter the outcome.
The merchant will no longer accept bundles as donations
The bot will temporarily ignore you if excessive spamming of Embervale commands is detected.
Health potions used in dungeons will now correctly count toward the "Drink Potion" mission progress.

Other
